Working in Belgium
Are you recruiting a highly qualified profile for your company?
We help you obtain their work permit quickly and without administrative blockage.
An excellent profile, but a complex procedure to manage?
Recruiting a non-European worker can meet a real strategic need, but as an employer, you often face:
- An opaque procedure that differs by Region.
- Legal obligations you don’t fully understand.
- Administrative delays difficult to anticipate.
- Risks of rejection if the file is incomplete.
- A feeling of loneliness in an unclear system.
- Lack of time or knowledge to handle administrative procedures.
You found the right candidate. Our role is to help you bring them legally and efficiently, without slowing down your business.
Different types of permits
The single permit
A document that combines residence authorization and work authorization.
Essential for long-term contracts, valid for a specific employer and position.
Work permit B
Requested by the employer, it concerns certain specific categories such as:
- shortage occupations,
- researchers, highly qualified profiles.
It’s the starting point for subsequently obtaining a single permit.
Permit A (unlimited)
Issued after several years of work under permit B (generally 4 years over 10 years of regular residence), this permit gives you full access to the Belgian job market.
The EU Blue Card
Accessible to higher education graduates with:
- A contract of min. 1 year
- A gross annual salary ≥ €61,190 (as of 01/01/2025)
- A recognized diploma
The employer submits a provisional authorization request. You, as the worker, then apply for the blue card with the Immigration Office.
